As our 3D prints are slowly becoming better and better, we thought we would give it a try at something more complicated. Up to now we have only printed square-shaped objects that are relatively easy to print and do not require any support material as they are printed.
Round objects and objects that are in need of so called “bridges” are a very different story. Though all the calculations are done by computer, it is up to us to adjust all the little parameters that make the whole print printable at all! And believe me, there are many small changes that will in the end decide weather the print will collapse and break or will it be awesome!
It took us three tries to make it work!
It is a chick-egg holder, which was later given as a gift for new kitchen.
Thank you 3D printer!
